Description

This ornamental wall dates to around 1820 to 1830. Constructed of high rubble, it features a coped embattled parapet along the top. A taller central bay projects forward, originally containing a round-arched gateway which is now blocked, with arrow slits positioned above. The wall was designed as part of a grand entrance to Brooklands House, in conjunction with Brooklands Lodge. It is designated as a group value asset alongside Brooklands Lodge and Brooklands House.
