Description
This building, located at 5, 7, and 9 Friars Vennel in Dumfries, dates from around 1800. It is a three-storey corner structure featuring modern shops on the ground floor. The façade has three bays facing Friars Vennel and a single bay gable on Brewery Street. It is constructed of painted coursed rubble with ashlar margins. The windows have been reglazed, with modern glazing on the first floor and plate glass sashes on the second floor. The building also has an eaves and lintel band, topped with a tiled roof.
