Description

20 and 22 Brewery Street in Dumfries is an early 19th-century building that stands three storeys tall. It features a shallow recessed and curved corner bay, constructed from painted droved ashlar with projecting cills. The façade has two bays facing Brewery Street and a single bay on Friars' Vennel. The ground floor includes a shop with a door located in the curved corner, while the upper floors have sash windows, some of which are blind, and one retains its original 12-pane glazing pattern. The building has end stacks and a slate roof that is curved and piended at the south side.
