Description
Chalmers United Free Church of Scotland is a mid-19th century church, designed by J W A J Hay from Liverpool, built between 1855 and 1856. It features a six-bay rectangular structure with a squat tower and a stone spire that maintains its original shape and proportions at the southeast gable. The church is adorned with diagonal buttresses and an octagonal stair turret located in the southern re-entrant angle.
