Description

The Crown Hotel, located at 4 Bank Street in Alloa, was built around 1870. It is a two-storey building with an attic, featuring a symmetrical front and twin rectangular tripartite bays. The hotel has a Corinthianesque cast-iron verandah porch with a balcony and a crown above, along with other delicate iron details that are of interest. The exterior is constructed from snecked rubble and includes arched dormers.
