Description

The Thatched House Hotel, located at 236 High Street, is a two-storey building with a roughcast front and irregularly placed sash windows. It features two three-sided bay windows and has old tile and slate roofs, dating from the 18th century and earlier. The hotel has a gabled porch from the 19th century. To the left, there is a three-window block that is either late 18th century or early 19th century, which is taller and has a slate hipped roof.
