Buccleuch and Greyfriars Free Church, built between 1856 and 1862 by architects J. J. M. and W. H. Hay from Liverpool, is a Second Pointed style church. It is constructed from rubble and features an aisleless design, highlighted by a striking tall spire with a bold and original outline.
