19 Thistle Street, Edinburgh

19 Thistle Street in Edinburgh is a building constructed in 1900. It features four storeys, a basement, and an attic, designed as two-bay offices. The exterior is made of painted ashlar stone. On the right side, there is a corniced tripartite doorway with a pedimented overlight. To the left, you will find a half-sunk tripartite basement window, with a segmental-headed bipartite window above it. The first floor has transomed windows with a cill course, and a mullion to the left. The second floor windows mirror those on the ground floor and also have a cill course, positioned at the eaves level of the original houses. The third floor features five windows. The building has an eaves course and a mansard attic.

The rear elevation is five storeys high and constructed of rubble, with garaging at the ground level. The windows are timber sash and case with plate glass. The building has ashlar coped skews and is topped with grey slates.

Inside, there is a turned timber dog-leg stair and large rooms on each floor with compartmented ceilings.
