Ashburnham Lodge, 37 Station Road

Ashburnham Lodge, located at 37 Station Road, is an Arts & Crafts style lodge built around 1898, with later alterations. It has a single-storey square plan and features painted roughcast with raised cills.

The principal elevation faces east and includes an advanced bargeboard gabled entrance bay with a timber door, a 12-pane fanlight above, and 6-pane lights on the returns. There are 8-pane lights in the adjacent bays.

On the south elevation, there is a corbelled oriel window in the right bay, with an adjacent single window and a modern addition in a single bay on the left.

The west elevation is a blind face, while the north elevation mirrors the fenestration of the south face.

The lodge has small-pane casement windows and a piended Rosemary tile roof with deep bracketed eaves and a ridge stack.
