Description
The Scottish American War Memorial, located in West Princes Street Gardens, Edinburgh, was designed by R Tait MacKenzie and constructed between 1924 and 1927. It features a seated bronze figure of an idealized young soldier in a kilt, positioned on a stone plinth. Behind the figure is an ashlar wall that includes a long bronze relief panel with a carved inscription below it.
