Description
Earlier 19th century. 2-storey, attic and basement, 15-bay classical terrace. Polished ashlar sandstone; V-jointed rustication at principal floor; broached ashlar sandstone at basement. Base course; band course between basement and principal floor, principal and 1st floors; cill course at 1st floor; cornice and blocking course at 1st floor. Ashlar steps and entrance platts oversailing basement.
S (PRINCIPAL) ELEVATION: comprising 5 3-bay houses; 6-panel timber doors with variety of plate glass and radial semicircular fanlights, in alternating houses to left and right. Windows in remaining bays at principal floor; regular fenestration to floors above with reeded aprons in bays at 1st floor, and basement. Flagged basement area.

Predominantly 12-pane timber sash and case windows. Grey slate roof. Polygonally piended dormers at Nos 8, 10 and 12; pair of rectangular dormers at No 14; polygonally piended dormer and bow-fronted dormer at No 16. Cast-iron rainwater goods. Variety of rendered and broached ashlar ridge stacks; coped, with circular cans. Coped skews.
INTERIORS: not seen, 1998.
RAILINGS: ashlar copes surmounted by cast-iron railings with spear-headed and urn finials.
