Description
The Walled Garden at Dundas Castle dates back to the early 19th century and is a rectangular structure enclosed by red brick walls topped with sandstone coping. The northern wall is made of rubble, and there are dressed openings with droved and polished sandstone.
At the southern end, there is a gateway leading into the garden. Notable features within the garden include a rockery situated on a natural outcrop near the center, which has a small, crescent-shaped retaining wall at its base. The northern wall's exterior has various ancillary buildings that were previously used as potting sheds and boiler houses. Additionally, square flue vents for a wall heating system are located on the right side of the northern wall exterior.
