Bank, 64 Bridge Road, Edinburgh

This building is a bank located at 64 Bridge Road in Edinburgh, dating from around 1908 and altered around 1923. It is a single-storey structure, although it appears as two storeys on the north side, and features a flat roof. The west elevation showcases a plain entablature from circa 1923, supported by free-standing paired Doric columns in antis. The building is finished in painted render, with sandstone ashlar dressings only on the south and west elevations.

The design includes a basecourse and an entablature on the south and west sides, topped with a projecting cornice and a blocking course. The entrance is located on the south side and features a roll-moulded doorpiece with a projecting canopy above. To the left of the entrance is a window flanked by pilasters, while the right side has a two-bay section with a simpler entablature and blocking course. The west elevation also has paired columns in antis that flank a central window and support a projecting entablature. The north side of the building has regular fenestration.
