Description

Edward Calvert, 1885. 4-storey, 4-bay tenement with Barional details, forming part of terrace. Squared and snecked cream sandstone with contrasting polished ashlar dressings (stone-cleaned). Base course; string course above 1st floor; corbel table at 3rd floor stepped down at centre; chamfered reveals.

W ENTRANCE elevation: roll-moulded doorway with relieving arch to right of centre; panelled door; plate glass fanlight; small single window flanking to right; single windows above to centre bays, 3rd floor windows breaking eaves in half-pedimented dormerhead linked by central wallhead stack. Full-height canted windows corbelled to square in crowstepped gableheads in bays to outer left and right; string courses above 1st floor. Plate glass sash and case windows. Grey slate roof; coped wallhead stack to W; coped mutual sacks.

INTERIORS: not seen 1991.
