Description

Later 19th century with later addition to rear. 2-storey 3-bay house, subdivided. Polished ashlar to ground; droved ashlar to 1st floor, with recent plastic repairs; harled side elevation with droved ashlar dressings; harled and painted rear elevation. Base course, band course between floors, cornice and blocking course.

W (PRINCIPAL) ELEVATION: panelled door to centre; rectangular plate glass fanlight and window at 1st floor above. Full-height canted window in bay to left; projecting window in bay to right with tripartite windows to each floor; door to extreme right, (entrance to upper flat, No 11).

E (REAR) ELEVATION: regularly disposed bays; glazed door to 1st floor, bay to left, plate glass fanlight above, bracketted iron balcony in front. Extension to extreme left, abutting earlier cottages, No 15.

4-pane timber sash and case windows. Slate roof; rendered and coped stacks to ridge and gable end; cast-iron rainwater goods.

INTERIOR: not seen, 1994. Shutters at 1st floor still in place.

BOUNDARY WALLS: droved ashlar with coping.
