Description
The Walled Garden at Norton House Hotel, dating from around 1840, is a large rectangular structure located to the west of the hotel and adjacent to the former stables. It measures approximately 500 meters by 800 meters and is built from squared, coursed whinstone with ashlar coping. Each of the four tall walls features doors. Inside, there is a platform where former greenhouses were situated against the north wall. Currently, there is no remaining garden or vegetation.
