Description
The building is a windmill located on Belford Road in Edinburgh, likely dating from the early 18th century, with later modifications made to convert it into a residential dwelling. The remains of the former windmill are incorporated into the boundary wall at the rear, which faces north. The structure features coursed and squared random rubble, with a large stilted arched opening at the ground floor that has been in-filled with later timber and glazed doors. To the left, there is another doorway on the west side. Additionally, there is a single rectangular window to the left at the first floor, which has dressed margins.
