Description
Lister House is a late 18th century tenement that stands five storeys tall with an attic and features three bays. The building is constructed of squared rubble with ashlar dressings. It has a cill band at the first floor and long and short quoins. The windows have raised margins, and there is a depressed-arch entrance to the pend on the outer left, which is now fitted with a glazed door. The semi-basement on the right is enclosed with cast-iron railings. The attic is adorned with two tripartite pedimented timber dormers.
The windows are timber sash and case with 12-pane glazing, and the roof is covered with grey slates. The building has corniced end stacks that feature circular cans.
