63, 65, 67 Thistle Street, Edinburgh

This building, located at 63, 65, and 67 Thistle Street in Edinburgh, dates from around 1775 and is a three-storey tenement with a basement and attic, featuring five bays. It is situated on a corner site with the ground sloping down to the north at the rear. The exterior is constructed of coursed rubble with an ashlar ground floor.

On the ground level, there are deep-set doors leading to the three central bays, with the center bay providing access to a common stair and the flanking bays serving as shops. The building has two piend-roofed dormers, with a tripartite dormer located to the right. The gable features a window on each floor, as well as one window in the shop area.

The rear elevation is irregular, consisting of five storeys and four bays, with a garage door added at the ground level. The windows are timber sash and case with 12 panes, while the shops have plate glass windows. The building is topped with ashlar coped skews, rebuilt stone stacks, and grey slate roofing.

The interior was not seen in 1995.
