Description
7 Glasgow Road is an early 19th century single-storey, three-bay cottage that is part of a range of farm cottages in Middle Norton. The building is constructed of coursed whinstone with droved sandstone margins and quoins, featuring raised cills.
The northeast elevation, which was originally the main facade, has a former door in the center that is now blocked and replaced with a window. The west elevation shows a rubble gable with a window located to the outer right. To the right of the gable is a lower three-bay addition that serves as the main entrance, featuring a central door flanked by windows.
The cottage includes plate glass sash and case windows, a roof covered with regular rubberoid slates, ashlar coping at the skews, and coped sandstone stacks at the gablehead.
