12 Glasgow Road in Middle Norton, Edinburgh, is a mid-19th century single-storey pair of terraced cottages, each with three bays and a rectangular plan. The cottages are constructed from coursed whinstone, featuring stugged sandstone margins and quoins.

The northeast elevation is nearly symmetrical, with the design mirrored at the center of the terrace. For No. 11, there is a door at the center, a bipartite window to the right, and a single window to the left. In No. 12, the door is also at the center, with a bipartite window to the left and a single window to the right. Sandstone margins frame cast-iron vents located beneath the windows.

The cottages have sash and case windows, with 8-pane windows in the bipartites, a 12-pane window in the outer bay of No. 11, and a 16-pane sash and case window in the outer bay of No. 12.
