67 Restalrig Road, Edinburgh

67 Restalrig Road is a house dating from around 1820. It is a 2-storey, 3-bay structure with a basement and flanking screen walls. The front is made of polished ashlar sandstone, while the sides and rear are constructed from squared and snecked rubble. The building features a base course, a mutuled eaves cornice, and a blocking course.

The principal elevation is symmetrical, with a central doorpiece that has pilasters and a mutuled cornice. The entrance includes a panelled door topped by a rectangular fanlight made of plate glass. There are two flanking windows and three first-floor windows, which are slightly smaller, all featuring plate glass timber sash and case designs with projecting cills. The basement level has blanked openings. The screen walls are topped with later bold fireclay balustrades, although the outer left baluster is missing, and there is a door in the left wall.

The northwest and southeast elevations consist of blank gable walls. The northeast elevation was not visible in 1995.

The roof is covered with grey slate and includes wallhead stacks; the right stack is rendered with ashlar coping, while the left stack is made of coursed rubble with ashlar coping. The skews are also ashlar coped.

The boundary wall is a coursed rubble dwarf wall topped with ashlar coping, which previously had railings.
