9 Tweedale Street, Oban

9 Tweedale Street in Oban is an early 19th-century, three-storey and attic, four-bay traditional terraced tenement. The street-facing elevation features a cement-rendered and painted wall made of coursed rubble, with window sills and dressed margins around the openings. There is a segmental-arched pend opening below the central bays, flanked by doorways, a window in bay 1, and another pend in bay 4. The rear wall has been reconstructed and finished with modern render.

The ground floor bay 1 has a 12-pane sash and case window, while modern glazing is used elsewhere on both the front and rear elevations. The eastern pitch of the roof is covered with grey slate and includes modern rooflights. The ridge has recently been heightened, and the rear pitch has been converted to a mansard form, now finished with artificial tiles.
