Description
7, 8, 9 Argyll Square is a mid-19th century three-storey and attic, three-bay terraced tenement. It features a weathered ashlar street frontage and a random rubble rear elevation. The ground floor has modern shopfronts with a cornice above, and there is a cornice at the eaves as well. The first-floor windows have stop-chamfered architraves and aprons, while the second-floor windows have cills. There is a modern addition to the ground floor at the rear.
The building has four-pane timber sash and case windows and a grey slate roof, which includes modern slate-hung box dormers on both the front and rear pitches.
