Description

The quay and bridge at Kerrycroy, Bute, date from the early 19th century. The quay is made of coursed red rubble sandstone and features a harl-pointed finish. It has a raised outer parapet also made of red rubble sandstone, with steps leading down to the inner harbour on the north side. At the southern end, there is a Tudor-arched bridge opening, which has a polished sandstone architraved surround and chamfered reveals.
