Description
5 Kerrycroy Village is a pair of early 19th century single-storey cottages designed in the Tudor Gothic style, creating a symmetrical six-bay block. The cottages feature whitewashed harl with painted, slightly projecting cills and hoodmoulds above bipartite openings, along with stone mullions. Centered at the front are boarded timber porches, with piended additions at the rear.
On the entrance elevation, there are boarded timber doors facing south and north, located in pitched-roofed porches in the penultimate bays on the outer left and right. Flanking these doors are single windows. The cottages have 12-pane timber casements and a graded grey slate roof, with replacement rainwater goods, coped ridge, and apex stacks topped with circular terracotta cans.
The interiors were not seen in 1996. The boundary walls consist of flanking rubble-coped, harl-pointed random rubble walls with timber pedestrian entrance gates.
