Description

Early 19th century. 2-storey, 3-bay near-symmetrical house of square plan. Cement-rendered, lined and painted principal front, roughcast side and rear elevations. Margined windows with projecting cills.

SE (NORTH SHORE STREET) ELEVATION: 3-bays, grouped slightly to left of elevation. Glazed timber porch addition at ground floor, centre bay. Tripartite windows to outer bays at 1st floor.

SW ELEVATION: blank gable end.

NE ELEVATION: gable end with window at 1st floor to outer left.

Timber sash and case windows, 4-pane at ground floor, 12-pane with 4-pane sidelights at Wyatt windows, modern window at centre. 12-pane timber sash and case to NE elevation. 4-panel entrance door. Purple slated pitch to North Shore Street, corrugated sheet finish to rear pitch, cast-iron gutters and downpipes. Piend-roofed, slate-hung canted timber dormers with 4-pane timber sash and case windows and plate glass sidelights. Broad roughcast and coped apex stacks with circular cans.
