Description
The former farmhouse at 7 Fishtown Of Usan dates back to the early 19th century. It is a two-storey, three-bay rectangular house featuring a projecting porch and a single-storey gabled extension at the rear. The exterior is harled, and the flat-roofed porch is located at the center of the south elevation, which includes a two-pane fanlight and a window on the return. The windows are closely grouped in the flanking bays and above, while the end gables are blank.
The house has non-traditional timber windows and is topped with graded grey slates that include cast-iron rooflights. The gables feature coped skews with block skewputts, and there are gablehead stacks. Additionally, there is a good stone wall that runs parallel to the entrance elevation at the front.
