Description
Mid Strathore Farmhouse is an early 19th-century, two-storey, five-bay farmhouse with single-storey wings. The exterior is harled with dressed stone margins.
On the south elevation, there is a single-storey porch featuring a window and door on the return to the left, which projects to the right of centre. To the outer right, there is a window, a bipartite window at the centre, and two additional windows to the left. The first floor has regular fenestration.
The north elevation includes a full-width single-storey extension with asymmetrical fenestration, a stair window to the left of centre above, and another window to the right.
The west elevation features a single-storey M-gable with a window in the bay to the right.
The east elevation has a gabled design with a window on each floor at the outer left and another window at the outer right in the single-storey extension.
The windows are timber sash and case with a 4-pane glazing pattern, except for the ground rear and west elevations. The roof is covered with grey slates and terracotta ridge tiles, and there are coped ashlar stacks with some polygonal cans. The farmhouse has plain bargeboarding and deeply overhanging eaves.
Inside, there is plain cornicing and timber shutters in the ground floor front rooms, while the rest of the interior was not seen in 1997.
The property is enclosed by rubble boundary walls.
