Description
17 Main Street is a single storey, three bay cottage dating from the earlier 19th century, situated within an irregular terrace. The building is constructed of painted rubble and features long and short quoins.
The entrance elevation is symmetrical, with a part glazed timber door at the center, positioned beneath a large modern fascia. There are fixed windows with a 12 pane glazing pattern in the flanking bays. The roof is covered with traditional pantiles, and there is a harled stack with cans and thackstane, which is painted ashlar and skewed to the rear only.
