123 Bridge Street, Montrose

123 Bridge Street in Montrose is an early 19th-century, two-storey and attic tenement that forms part of an irregular terrace. The front is finished in sandstone ashlar, while the rear is rendered.

The principal elevation features a three-step flight of stairs leading to a central entrance, which has a rectangular fanlight and a modern door. Above the entrance, there is a window centered on the first floor, with additional windows in the flanking bays at both the ground and first floors. Canted dormers are positioned above these bays.

The east elevation includes a forestair leading to a raised ground floor, with a gabled dormer situated above it.

The north elevation is adjoined by 119-121 Bridge Street, while the south elevation presents a gable end in a close.

The building has four-pane timber sash and case windows, with modern glazing in the dormers. It is topped with a grey slate pitched roof, featuring stone skews and skewputts, along with brick gablehead stacks.
