111, 113 Bridge Street, Montrose

111 and 113 Bridge Street in Montrose is an early 19th century building that was reconstructed around 1860. It is a two-storey and attic, three-bay tenement situated in an irregular terrace. The front is made of sandstone that is stugged, squared, and snecked, with some parts finished in ashlar, while the rear features rubble and some render.

The west elevation is symmetrical, featuring a central window at ground level in a slightly advanced bay, with two windows on the first floor above. There is a raised wallhead gable that includes a chimney and a stone-mullioned bipartite window. The outer bays have doors flanking the center and windows on both the ground and first floors. Above, there is a canted dormer.

The north elevation is adjacent to 99-101 Bridge Street, while the south elevation adjoins 115-117 Bridge Street. The east elevation features a bowed stair tower at the center with a tall window and a single window at attic level, along with a door to the left at ground level. There is a single bay to the left with a wall that has part brick infill, and a single bay to the right.
