Description
32 Bridge Street is an earlier 19th-century, two-storey and attic house that is part of an irregular terrace, situated on ground that slopes down to the rear. The front features lined and bull-faced render, while the rear is constructed from squared rubble. The building has raised quoins, a base course, a band course above the ground floor, and an eaves cornice.
The east elevation is symmetrical, with paired doorways at the center that share a common cornice. These doorways have six-panel doors and rectangular fanlights with elegant curvilinear glazing. Above, there are two windows on the first floor, with additional windows in the ground and first floors flanking the outer bays. Two bowed dormers are positioned above the inner and outer bays.
The north elevation is adjacent to 28/30 Bridge Street, while the south elevation is next to 36 Bridge Street. The house features 12-pane timber sash and case windows, a grey slate pitched roof with coped skews, and brick gablehead stacks.
At the rear, there are rubble boundary walls.
