Description

Early 19th century. 3-storey and attic, 3-bay, L-plan tenement in irregular terrace with shop at ground, lined render to front, harled to rear, plain margins.

E (PRINCIPAL) ELEVATION: modern shopfront to right at ground, pend to left, 1st and 2nd floors symmetrically fenestrated, 2 canted dormers.

N ELEVATION: adjoining 92 High Street.

S ELEVATION: adjoining 100 High Street to right, W wing to left in close, single bay, opening in basement.

W ELEVATION: pend to right at ground, boarded window to left in pend, single bay at 1st and 2nd above, gablehead of W wing to left, No 98 adjoining beneath.

Timber sash and case windows with plate glass glazing. Grey slate roof; brick stack on W pitch of S gable; cast-iron rainwater goods to front.

INTERIOR: not seen 1997.
