Description
12 and 14 St David Street in Brechin is a mid 19th century Victorian Renaissance commercial building. It is two storeys high with an attic, constructed of ashlar stone with coursing at the first floor.
The ground floor features channelled pilaster ends adorned with swags, an entablature, and cornice moulded openings. It includes one window, a main door flanked by two windows, and another door. The doors have panelled spandrels at the top. The first floor has a three-window arrangement with architraves and corbelled cills, topped by a deep plain entablature, a main cornice, and a blocking course. The building is capped with a gabled slated roof that has two canted dormers.
