Description
Meikle Kilmundie Farmhouse is an early 19th century, two-storey, three-bay farmhouse built in an L-plan. The exterior features dry-dash with painted stone margins.
The southwest elevation is symmetrical, with a central bay that includes a window in a small, pitch-roof porch and a timber door with a three-pane fanlight to the left. There are windows in the flanking bays and regular fenestration close to the eaves on the first floor.
On the northeast elevation, there is a single-storey lean-to bay with a door in the centre and a window to the right. Above, a stair window is located in the centre over a piended roof, and there is an advanced blind gable to the left of centre with a window at ground level on the return to the right.
The northwest elevation features a broad gabled bay with a window on the outer left at ground level.
The southeast elevation has a gabled bay to the left of centre and a small extension to the right, which includes two windows above that break the eaves into dormer gableheads.
The farmhouse has timber sash and case windows with 4- and 12-pane glazing patterns, and the stair window has coloured margins. The roof is covered with grey slate, and there are coped ashlar stacks with cans and plain bargeboarding.
