87-91 Murray Street, Montrose

87-91 Murray Street is an 18th-century, two-storey, three-bay house that has undergone later alterations. It is part of an irregular terrace with shops on the ground floor and features painted and lined render.

The principal elevation faces west and includes a shop at No. 91 on the right, with a window to the right that has a canopy and a door to the left. The central door leads to No. 89, while there is another shop to the left. A doorway on the right has been converted into a window, and there is a large window to the left with a low stall riser. The first floor has three regularly spaced windows, and there are two modern rooflights above.

The north elevation adjoins 85 Murray Street, and the south elevation adjoins 93 Murray Street. The building features modern timber windows and a grey slate pitched roof. Inside, it connects with 85 Murray Street through a party wall.
