Description
26 Panmure Street in Brechin is a building dating from around 1900. It is two stories tall with an attic and features stugged coursers. The front has one window, while there is an additional window on a curved angle that serves as a raised corner turret with bracketed eaves, and another window on the gable. The ground floor contains a shop with a recessed and splayed corner door, along with two double-pane shop windows, one of which faces Bank Street. These elements are all topped by a continuous fascia with patterned glazing above the transom, resembling those found at Nos. 22 and 24. The building also has a bipartite dormer and a slated roof with bracketed eaves, featuring a domical roof and a finial at the corner. Barge boards adorn the gable facing Bank Street.
