Description
18-20 High Street in Earlsferry is a building dating from around 1880. It is two stories high and features hammer-dressed coursers with a polished ashlar ground floor for the shop and door, along with stugged dressings that have chamfered margins on the first floor. There is a panelled door to the upper floors on the right, while the left side has an unaltered shop with a central recessed door and two large windows, all with moulded and shouldered openings. A continuous entablature runs above the shop and house door. The roof is slated with straight skews, moulded ends, and corniced stacks. There is also a facet sundial located partway up the left skew, and the flanks are made of harled rubble.
