Description

West Wellbank Aqueduct, built in 1848 by engineer James Leslie, carries an enclosed duct over a stream. The structure features lightly stugged rubble masonry with ashlar dressings and an intrados, topped with bull-faced coping stones. It has two segmental arches and an embankment to the south, supported by a rubble drystone wall.
