Description
The principal entrance gatepiers at Gagie House date from the later 18th century. There are three gatepiers made of ashlar and Aberdeen bond, set on plinths and topped with ball finials. They are accompanied by round-coped rubble quadrants leading to two similar smaller piers, with rubble boundary walls adjoining.
Additionally, there are two gatepiers that belonged to a demolished home farm house, also from the later 18th century. These gatepiers are constructed of ashlar and Aberdeen bond, featuring rectangular banded ball finials on elongated necks, with rubble boundary walls adjoining.
