Description

Midmar Parish Church and Burial-Ground in Christchurch dates back to 1787. The church has a rectangular plan and is constructed from coursed squared rubble with a cherrycocked finish. It features a bellcote and five round-arched windows on the south wall. The west end of the church was rebuilt around 1885, and the interior was recast with additional modifications made in 1942. The church houses a bell by Peter Jansen.
