Description

Barnyards of Midmar is a castellated Gothic building, likely constructed around 1796. The front wall features a central archway and drum angle towers, all finished with harled plaster. At the rear, there is a courtyard that was reconstructed as a mansion house between 1965 and 1966, while retaining the original features. Additionally, there are slight remains of a rectangular doocot located at the rear.
