The Old Schoolhouse in Newton Of Corsindae is a two-storey building with three windows, constructed from harl-pointed rubble in the late 18th century. It features a later porch. Originally built as an inn, it was converted into a schoolhouse in 1861 when a single-storey schoolroom made of rough ashlar was added. This schoolroom has a broad-eaved, low-pitched roof.
