Description
The Old Schoolhouse at St Tarquin's Place in Fordyce is a cottage built between 1830 and 1840. It is a single storey with an attic and features three bays, with a harled exterior. The front has a central doorway flanked by windows that include a central mullion and lying-pane glazing. At the rear, there are two later piended dormers. A single bay extension at the back connects to the house, creating a T-plan layout. The windows have multi-pane glazing, and the building has end stacks with slate roofs that have projecting eaves.
