Description
Auchanachie Castle is a historic building dated 1594, with an addition from the 18th century. The castle features a harled exterior and a slated roof. The original structure includes a three-storey tower and a two-storey wing, along with a turnpike stair tower located in the re-entrant angle. A prominent great chimney is situated on the east side of the building. The ground and first floors are vaulted, adding to the architectural interest of the castle.
