Description

Hatton Castle, dating from 1575, is a restored four-storey, Z-plan castle featuring a vaulted basement. It has square towers at the northeast and southwest corners, along with a circular turret in the re-entrant angle of the northeast tower. The castle is built from harled rubble and includes moulded and pedimented dormers. The roof is crowstep-gabled, slated, and primarily has end chimneystacks.
