Early 19th century symmetrical lay-out of distinctive design.

House single-storey and basement, gables and back rough

granite ashlar, fine ashlar front 2-window and centre anta

doorpiece with steps enclosed by podia, parapet at roof.

Curving harled garden walls, wrought iron gate of 5

horizontals centre upright and 2 diagonals flanked by 2

turnstiles. Unaltered.
