Description
Blackhill House is an early 19th century building with a symmetrical layout and distinctive design. It is a single-storey house with a basement, featuring gables and a rough granite ashlar back. The fine ashlar front has a two-window arrangement and a central doorpiece, with steps enclosed by podia and a parapet at the roof. The property is complemented by curving harled garden walls and a wrought iron gate, which has five horizontal bars, a central upright, two diagonal supports, and is flanked by two turnstiles. The house remains unaltered.
