Description
Richmondhill House is a single-storey building with a V-plan, constructed on the west and south sides around 1820 to 1835, while the north side is likely older. The exterior is harled with grey granite margins and features base and eaves courses, along with a broad eaved roof supported by paired console brackets. The south front includes a pedimented porch that originally had Roman-Doric columns in antis, which were removed by a previous owner. There is a screen wall leading to an office court that once housed a central castellated doocot. A coped garden wall with a hemicycle design is present at the gate. Inside, there is a long corridor adorned with fine plasterwork, culminating in a dome at the far end that has an oculus.
