Description
This is an 18th-century building, likely dating from the early to mid-1700s, serving as a family vault located within the Old Churchyard in Newburgh. It is a small, rectangular structure distinguished by its low walls and a tall roof. The roof has straight skew sides, topped with skewputts, while the entrance is raised and has a swept roofline. A tall, simple gable is located at the rear of the vault, and a small area is enclosed by a low railing. The roof ridge is finished with harled stone. A few original 18th-century stones are present within the wider churchyard.
